Swim With Tiger Cubs At Dade City's Wild Things In Florida

At Dade City's Wild Things,, a private zoo in Pasco County, Fla., you can now go swimming with tiger cubs, Fox 13 reports.
Randy Stearns, Wild Things president, says the swimming sessions are relatively safe. "It's not like we're going to just throw you in the pool and say, 'Here's the tiger,'" he told the station. "You're in there with at least one of the trainers actually in the water with you."
According to Florida state law, only big cats 25 pounds and under are allowed contact with the public, so only cubs can go swimming with visitors.
Wild Things charges $200 per person for the world's most adorable pool party. The price includes 30 minutes with a cub, pool time, a bottle feeding session, and playing on the grass. WTSP reports that proceeds go towards caring for the animals.
Tigers are the best swimmers of all of the big cats, according to the zoo's website, with webbing between their toes to help propel them through the water.
